University of Calabar Announces 2026/2027 Post-UTME and DIrect Entry Screening Registration.
The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry online admission screening exercise.
According to the university management, the registration portal is open to candidates who selected UNICAL as their first choice in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored a minimum cut-off mark of 150. Prospective students who did not initially choose UNICAL but scored 150 or above are also eligible to apply, provided they complete a change of institution to the university on the JAMB portal.
Direct Entry candidates, particularly holders of diplomas, NCE, or A'Levels who selected UNICAL as their first-choice institution, are also eligible to apply.
Additionally, applicants must meet the age requirement for university admission and are required to upload their O’Level results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) portal.
The university emphasized that only candidates who chose UNICAL as their first choice institution will be considered for the screening exercise and subsequent admission process.
