Al-Hikmah University Begins Admission Process, Releases Cut-Off Marks
Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, has announced the approved JAMB UTME cut-off marks for admission into its 2026/2027 academic session across various faculties and programmes.
The institution, located in Adewale Housing Estate, Adeta Road, Ilorin, Kwara State, disclosed the admission requirements on its official platform as part of ongoing admission processes.
According to the release, the cut-off mark for B. Agriculture under the Faculty of Agriculture is 150.
In the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Technology, programmes offered include Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Systems, and Software Engineering.
The Faculty of Education offers courses such as B.Sc. (Ed.) Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Business Education, English, Islamic Studies, Educational Technology, Guidance and Counselling, and Educational Management.
In the Faculty of Law, available programmes include LL.B. Common Law and LL.B. Common and Islamic Law.
The Faculty of Management Sciences comprises Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, and Business Administration.
The Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences includes programmes such as Microbiology, Industrial Mathematics, Petroleum Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Physics with Electronics, Statistics, Biology, Geology, Biochemistry, and related education courses.
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences offers courses including Sociology and Criminology, Public Administration, Political Science and Conflict Resolution, Mass Communication, Arabic, English, Islamic Studies, History and International Relations, Library and Information Science, and other related disciplines.
In the College of Health Sciences, the institution offers MB;BS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery), while the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences includes Medical Laboratory Science, Public Health, Human Physiology, and Human Anatomy.
For Nursing Sciences, the approved programme is B.NSc. Nursing Science, with a cut-off mark of 200.
The university also outlined Direct Entry requirements, including a minimum of two points with at least two passes in A’Level qualifications such as JUPEB, IJMB, or NABTEB, as well as a minimum of lower credit for National Diploma holders and merit for other diploma and NCE holders.
It added that flexible academic options are available, including sandwich programmes, JUPEB, sub-degree, diploma, and distance learning, alongside an uninterrupted academic calendar and flexible fee payment plans.
