RSU Extends Post-UTME Registration, Reschedules Screening Exercise for 2026/2027 Session
The management of Rivers State University (RSU), Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, has announced an adjustment to the registration and screening schedule for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Exercise.
According to a notice signed by the Acting Registrar, Dr. Idanyingi I. Daminabo, the change was necessitated by the need to accommodate candidates currently participating in the ongoing WAEC and NECO examinations.
The university disclosed that the registration exercise, which was initially scheduled to end on June 7, 2026, has been extended by two weeks and will now close on June 21, 2026.
Similarly, the Post-UTME screening exercise, earlier slated to commence on June 15, 2026, has been postponed and will now begin on July 21, 2026.
RSU management advised all prospective candidates to take advantage of the extended registration period, regularly monitor the registration portal for updates, and print their screening slips containing details of their screening date, time, and venue.
The institution noted that all other information contained in the earlier advertisement remains unchanged and expressed appreciation for the understanding of candidates and stakeholders regarding the adjustment.
The university also wished all candidates success in their examinations and the forthcoming screening exercise.
