FUL SUG Assures Students of Pending NELFUND Refunds, Ongoing Disbursement Process

The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Federal University Lokoja has assured students that efforts are ongoing to resolve issues surrounding pending NELFUND refunds and the delay in the current disbursement process.

In an official statement released on May 13, 2026, the union acknowledged that several students are yet to receive refunds from the previous NELFUND disbursement batch. The SUG leadership stated that the President of the union is actively engaging relevant authorities to ensure that all eligible students receive their refunds without exception.

According to the statement, the delay in processing the current batch was caused by the recent strike action by non-teaching staff, which temporarily halted administrative activities. However, with workers now back on duty, the processing of the second batch has reportedly reached an advanced stage.

The union further urged students to remain patient, assuring them that those with accurate submitted details and no administrative issues should expect their credit alerts soon.
