YAKUBU GOWON UNIVERSITY Announces Post Graduate Admission for 2026/2027 Academic Session

The Yakubu Gowon University, Abuja (Formerly University of Abuja) has officially commenced the sale of application forms for admission into its postgraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

According to the advertisement released by the College of Postgraduate Studies, applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into various Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), Master's, MPhil, Professional Master's, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes across several faculties.

The available programmes span numerous disciplines, including Agriculture, Arts, Education, Engineering, Geography and Atmospheric Sciences, Law, Management Sciences, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Clinical Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, and Basic Medical Sciences.

Applicants are required to possess the relevant O'Level qualifications and meet the specific academic requirements for their preferred programme.
Interested candidates are to submit their applications through the University's Postgraduate Portal and pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦20,500.
The University also advised applicants to ensure that their official academic transcripts are forwarded to the School of Postgraduate Studies before the application deadline.

The application portal will remain open until Wednesday, 30 September 2026.
