LASU Commences 2026/2027 LACACA Clearance for Newly Admitted Students
Lagos State University (LASU) has commenced the LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA) for full-time undergraduate students admitted for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The online clearance exercise officially begins on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, and will run for three weeks, ending on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
Successful candidates are required to complete the LACACA process to qualify for the issuance of their LASU Admission Clearance Certificates and subsequent assignment of matriculation numbers. Candidates who fail to complete the clearance successfully may risk forfeiting their provisional admission.
Before commencing the clearance process, candidates are required to have paid their acceptance, medical and clearance fees.
How to Pay the LACACA Clearance Fee
1. Visit the LASU payment portal: https://www.lasu.edu.ng/globalpay
2. Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the field labelled “Matriculation Number/Application Number.”
3. Provide a valid email address and phone number.
4. Click Continue and proceed with the payment.
How to Complete the LACACA Clearance
1. Visit the official LASU website: https://www.lasu.edu.ng
2. Click on the Student tab and select UG LACACA.
3. Enter your UTME Registration Number and surname, then click Submit.
On the dashboard, candidates are required to:
- Validate their basic biodata.
- Verify their disability status.
- Upload O’Level scratch card details.
- Upload an original birth certificate.
- Upload their original UTME result.
- Upload their original JAMB Admission Letter.
- Upload a scanned signature.
- Tick the “I Agree” box and submit the application.
After submission, the clearance progress will initially move to 20%, after which the submitted documents will undergo further scrutiny by designated University officials.
Candidates are advised to regularly monitor their portals, as they may be required to take further action or make corrections based on the documents submitted.
Where corrections are required, candidates will be expected to pay the applicable LACACA correction fee through the LASU payment portal.
Candidates who attain 100% clearance will be able to print their LASU Admission Clearance Certificate and will subsequently be assigned a matriculation number.
Students whose clearance applications are rejected are advised to check their portals for the reason for rejection and take the necessary action.
