UNILORIN Releases 2026/2027 Post-UTME Results as Admission Process Set to Begin

The University of Ilorin has successfully concluded the 2026/2027 Post-UTME examination. The examination, which commenced on Thursday, August 13, 2026, officially came to an end on Saturday, August 15, 2026. The Post-UTME results for all candidates have also been released.

Following the conclusion of the examination, the University is expected to commence its internal admission process, after which the release of admission offers will begin via the JAMB CAPS first. Candidates are therefore advised to stay tuned and regularly check their JAMB CAPS for updates regarding their admission status.

It is important to note that scoring below 50% in the Post-UTME examination does not automatically mean that a candidate will not gain admission. The University will determine candidates’ aggregate scores using the various components of its admission grading system. JAMB carries 50% of the grading requirement, Post-UTME carries 30%, while the candidate’s five best O’Level results account for the remaining 20%.

Candidates are also strongly advised to ensure that their O’Level results are correctly uploaded on both the University portal and JAMB CAPS, as failure to have the required results properly uploaded on either platform may affect their admission consideration.

Furthermore, candidates should ensure that all their personal and academic details are correctly entered on both the University portal and JAMB CAPS. Any incorrect or conflicting information may negatively affect their admission process and could lead to disqualification.

Candidates are therefore advised to remain patient, stay updated, and regularly check their JAMB CAPS for further admission updates.
