ESUT RELEASES 2026/2027 POST-UTME SCREENING FORM
The management of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has officially announced the commencement of its online screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into the institution for the 2026/2027 academic session.
According to the official directive from the school management the screening is open to all candidates who chose ESUT as their first choice in the 2026 UTME. Candidates who did not initially select the institution but wish to apply are eligible to participate, provided they first apply for a Change of Institution to ESUT via the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal.
The university administration has established a tiered merit-cut-off structure for academic departments as follows:
A. ESUT minimum UTME scores for different courses are as shown below.
i. Medicine/Surgery, Nursing Sciences, Law – 240
ii. Pharmacy, Doctor of Optometry, Doctor of Physiotherapy – 220
Med Lab Sciences, Medical Radiography, Computer Science, Intelligence and Security Studies, Cyber Security, Data Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence – 200
iv. Anatomy, Public Health, Civil Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Accountancy, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Political Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, International Relations and Diplomacy, Architecture -180
V. Faculties of Agriculture, Education, Environmental Sciences and other
courses-160
B. The screening will be online and candidates are not required to appear for Physical Screening or Aptitude Test
C. The screening processing fee is two thousand naira (2,000.00) only
D. Candidates will be notified of their admission status through ESUT portal and JAMB CAPS
Commencement Date of Online portal registration opens on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 and closes on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
All prospective applicants are advised to review the cut-off tiers carefully and ensure their credentials match the specified parameters before starting the online registration process.
