UNILAG Announces 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Registration Details

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced the commencement of online registration for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into all undergraduate programmes.

According to a notice released by the institution, registration will begin on Monday, June 15, 2026, and close on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

The university stated that only candidates who selected UNILAG as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME and scored 200 and above are eligible to apply. Applicants must also possess a minimum of five credit passes in relevant O'Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in one sitting.

UNILAG further noted that candidates must upload their O'Level results on both the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) and the university's application portal on or before August 14, 2026, as this is a mandatory requirement for admission consideration.

The institution emphasized that candidates who will not be 16 years old by September 30, 2026, are not eligible for admission and should not apply. It also warned that candidates who fail to participate in the Post-UTME Online Aptitude Test will not be considered for admission.

Applicants were advised to use their personal and active email addresses during registration, as all official communication regarding the screening exercise will be conducted through that channel.

In addition, the university disclosed that former students whose admissions were withdrawn due to poor academic performance or absence status may reapply, provided they seek admission into a different programme from their previous course of study. However, students who were expelled from the institution remain ineligible for fresh admission.

Prospective candidates are encouraged to carefully follow the university's admission guidelines and complete their registration within the stipulated period.
