JAMB Announces Proposed Date for 2026 Mop-Up Examination Amid Technical Concerns
Honorable Updates gathered that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has proposed a date for the 2026 mop-up examination for candidates who experienced technical issues during the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
This information was revealed through the official X (formerly Twitter) handle of JAMB’s spokesperson, Dr. Benjamin, in response to a candidate’s inquiry on when those affected by technical challenges would be rescheduled to sit for their examination.
According to the response, JAMB has made arrangements for a mop-up exercise to accommodate all candidates who encountered difficulties during their initial exam. While 7th May was initially proposed, the examination is now more likely to take place in the second week of May.
Candidates are advised to stay updated through JAMB’s official channels for confirmation of the exact date and further directives regarding the mop-up examination.
