UNILORIN Issues CBT Examination Regulations for 2025/2026 Session
The University of Ilorin has announced that the 2025/2026 Rain Semester Examinations will commence on Monday, June 29, 2026, and end on Friday, July 24, 2026.
The announcement was contained in an internal memorandum issued by the Directorate of Academic Support Services (Examinations and Transcripts) and signed by the Deputy Registrar, M. A. Opaleke.
According to the memorandum, students are expected to strictly comply with all examination rules and regulations to ensure a smooth and hitch-free examination process.
The University reminded students to familiarize themselves with the Rules and Regulations/Code of Conduct on Examination Malpractices as outlined in the University Academic Programmes (Undergraduate and Sub-Degree) and the Students' Information and Regulations Handbook.
Students have been directed to observe the following examination regulations:
1. Introduction of handbags, books, notes, mobile phones, electronic devices, iPads/iPods, Bluetooth devices, flash drives, storage devices, or any unauthorized materials into examination venues is prohibited.
2. Entry into examination halls with inscriptions on any part of clothing or body, whether relevant or not, is not allowed.
3. Passing or attempting to pass information between candidates during examinations is prohibited.
4. Collusion with other candidates, copying, attempted copying, or any related malpractice is not permitted.
5. Usage of only matriculation numbers for examinations is required; names are not allowed on answer scripts.
6. Leaving the examination venue before 50% of the allocated time elapses is not permitted.
7. Writing examinations on behalf of another student or allowing impersonation is strictly prohibited.
8. Possession of incriminating materials, whether used or unused, or involvement in any form of examination misconduct including impersonation is not allowed.
9. Orderliness and full compliance with CBT examination guidelines at all centres is required for CBT candidates.
10. Presentation of original, duly signed coloured registration forms is required; photocopies or altered forms without proper endorsement from the Level Adviser and Faculty Officer are not accepted.
11. Valid University Identity Card is compulsory for entry into examination halls; students who have misplaced theirs are expected to obtain replacements promptly.
12. CBT candidates who have forgotten portal passwords are required to recover them in advance via the University portal using the “Forgot Password” option linked to registered email addresses.
Students are encouraged to comply fully with these guidelines to ensure smooth conduct of examinations.
