BUK Releases Mandatory Pre-Mobilization Requirements For Batch B 2026 NYSC Upload
The management of Bayero University, Kano has issued a critical directive to all graduating students and prospective corps members ahead of the upcoming Batch B 2026 National Youth Service Corps mobilization exercise.
According to a special bulletin released on Saturday by the Office of the Registrar, the institution warned that strict adherence to registration guidelines is required to prevent data rejection on the national mobilization portal.
University officials stated that a major prerequisite for a successful process is the re-verification of admission status. Graduating students must download a fresh copy of their JAMB admission letter, as the system will automatically fail if submissions are made using older documents.
The administration also addressed the issue of identity alignment, urging students with previous records of data corrections to ensure their profiles are fully updated. The bulletin noted that any variation between institutional files and the JAMB database would lead to immediate rejection by the NYSC portal.
To facilitate data accuracy, the university announced that the complete mobilization list will be displayed on the notice boards at the Deanery of Student Affairs. Students are expected to cross-check their names, matriculation details, JAMB registration numbers, degree classifications, and graduation dates before the final upload.
The bulletin signed by the Secretary of Information and Publication, Bala G. Abdullahi, concluded with a warning that the university will lose administrative power to alter data once uploaded, leaving any subsequent corrections solely under the jurisdiction of the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters in Abuja.
