LASU Extends 2026/2027 Post-UTME/Direct Entry Registration, Announces Final Deadline

The management of Lagos State University has approved a two-week extension of its 2026/2027 Online Admission Screening Exercise for 100 Level UTME and 200 Level Direct Entry candidates.

According to the university, the extension took effect on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, following the approval of the Vice-Chancellor. The screening portal will remain open until Tuesday, July 14, 2026 (12:00 midnight), allowing prospective candidates to complete registration and update their O'Level results and other required information.

The screening exercise is open to candidates who selected LASU as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME and scored at least 195. Applicants must also be 16 years or older by October 1, 2026. Eligible candidates include UTME applicants, Direct Entry candidates, and qualified LASU Pre-Degree students who meet the admission requirements.

The university advised all applicants to ensure their O'Level results are uploaded to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board CAPS portal before the screening deadline. Candidates are also encouraged to verify that they meet the admission requirements for their preferred courses before completing the online screening.

LASU emphasized that only candidates who chose the institution as their first choice are eligible to participate in the screening exercise. Any complaints relating to the screening process should be directed to the university's designated support channels.
