University of Ibadan Begins Release of 2026/2027 Admission
The University of Ibadan (UI) has commenced the release of admission offers for the 2026/2027 academic session through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
Reports indicate that some candidates who participated in the university’s admission exercise have started receiving admission offers, with their admission status being updated on the JAMB CAPS portal.
The development follows the release of the university’s 2026/2027 Post-UTME results and departmental cut-off marks, signalling further progress in the institution’s admission process.
Candidates who applied for admission into the university are advised to regularly monitor their JAMB CAPS accounts for updates regarding their admission status.
Candidates who receive admission offers are expected to accept the offers on the JAMB CAPS portal and subsequently follow the university’s guidelines for clearance, registration, and other admission-related processes.
Meanwhile, candidates whose admission status has not yet been updated are advised to remain patient, as admission offers may be released progressively in batches.
