BUK Announces INEC Voter Registration for University Community

The management of Bayero University Kano has announced that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will conduct a Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise for members of the university community and residents of neighbouring communities within Ungogo Local Government Area.

According to a special bulletin issued by the university, the exercise is open to eligible individuals aged 18 years and above who wish to register as voters and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

The registration exercise is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, June 2 to Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the Convocation Arena, New Campus, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.

The university encouraged all eligible staff, students, and residents of surrounding communities to take advantage of the exercise to register and participate in future electoral processes.
