BUK Senate Approves Academic Calendar, Fees for 2025/2026 Session

The Senate of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) at its 434th meeting has officially approved the academic calendar and schedule of undergraduate fees and charges for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Following the approved schedule, the Second Semester resumption and commencement of lectures are slated for Monday, September 7, 2026, following the one-week First Semester break from Monday, August 31 to Saturday, September 5, 2026.
First semester lectures officially commenced on Monday, May 18, 2026. All returning and newly admitted students are strongly advised to note the approved timelines and ensure timely compliance with registration and academic activities across both semesters.
