KWASU Orders Students to Refund Excess NELFUND Payments, Gives Deadline
The management of Kwara State University has drawn the attention of the university community to a case of double payment during the disbursement of the NELFUND loan.
According to a memo, students whose names appeared on the attached list were mistakenly paid twice during the loan disbursement process.
The affected students have now been directed to refund the excess payment to the university’s designated account details below:
Bank: Zenith Bank
Account Number: 1229611752
The deadline for the refund has been set for or before 23rd May, 2026.
The university further warned that failure to comply with the directive will be regarded as misconduct and will be treated accordingly.
The notice was issued by the Registrar.
